BASS

Al originally started out his musical journey as a Guitarist, but when he first heard Sly And The Family Stone he knew he would venture into the world of Bass!
Al's favourite genre of music to play is 80s Rock, which means he loves to rock out on the Bass; putting his own spin on classic covers whilst still doing the awesome originals the justice they deserve!
As a performer Al loves to see the audience dancing wildly (and badly... haha), seeing everyone having a brilliant time is what the music is all about!
As well as playing Bass in The Funktion Up Collective, Al also plays 80s and Noughties crowd pleasers in his own band Faceplant!
Al loves all kind of music, but his favourite guilty pleasure song is... Wired For Sound by Cliff Richard!
